In early 2009, Raglan opened a dialogue with a beautiful village in the Loire region of France called Parce-sur-Sarthe with a view to a twinning of the two villages. As part of this project, the Raglan Twinning Association commissioned Cheryl Morgan, Local Historian, to write a guide to the history of Raglan Village. The resulting book also includes information about local attractions, activities and walks. The booklet was published by the Raglan Twinning Association and supported by many local businesses and groups including the Raglan Local History Group.
